Maxine Harrison Sloss is an artist and interior designer known for creating luxurious yet characterful spaces. Passionate about both the preservation of heritage and the promotion of emerging artists, her aesthetic effortlessly marries the old and new, the elegant and eclectic.

Following a successful career in New York, Sloss returned to the UK and settled in Edinburgh. Here, she founded The Superpower Agency, a charity enabling writers, artists and volunteers to work directly with Scotland’s most disadvantaged young people. Proceeds from MHS Studio directly fund this initiative and a selection of organisations with similar goals and objectives.
