FRD Designers & Makers

FRD Designers & Makers are a team of talented designers, artisans and engineers who share an enthusiasm for making challenging and beautiful things. They have over 30 years of experience working with leading designers, architects and private clients creating a huge variety of custom made items from bridges to entire product ranges.

Their unique approach is based on mixing highly experienced in-house metalworking with a wide range of disciplines encompassing glass, stone, upholstery and cabinet making. These skills combined with professional project management give their clients complete confidence as they bring their designs to life.

We are delighted to have an ongoing partnership with Francis and his team producing our exclusive range of lanterns in honour of the late designer, David Easton. A percentage of the price of the lanterns is donated directly to the Pratt Institute in New York from where David graduated in 1963.

The Harrison and Easton lanterns are made to order and include a ceiling fixing and metre of chain. Each lantern is priced at £6000 (excluding VAT and shipping costs). Custom sizes and bespoke pieces can be quoted for. UL approval for US and Canada can be supplied.
