An Ode To Our Launch
Our socks were well and truly blown off with the joy that exploded with our first collection. Launching MHS Studio has been a lesson in trusting our creative instincts and celebrating a very long love affair with seeking out the unique, both objects and people!
We are delighted, dumbfounded and still in a daze to be quite frank, at bypassing the modest target we set ourselves! Together, with your kind purchases and our generous collaborators we raised over £8,000 for the Super Power Agency, with payments swishing directly into their account over our maiden weekend.
The team at Super Power Agency work tirelessly to bring creativity to schools in Scotland, reconnecting young people with their nonchalant playful approach to the art of writing that is often lost through briefs set by the education system — for many, this can be the reason that their creativity simply stops. Thanks to you, their programme can continue throughout the summer as their workshops are a-go!

MHS Studio is a playful experimentation driven by our Creative Director, Maxine Sloss. Her wealth of experience in the interiors industry, her silk-bound book of suppliers to die for and a magpie’esk ability to seek out the most exquisite treasure in a barnful of junk is unrivalled. With a thoughtful and sustainable approach to sourcing — remarkable, unrepeatable spaces are a certainty.
With two facets we continue on this adventure. Maxine’s interior design consultation, with a healthy dose of these social good projects sprinkled throughout. We’d love it if you'd stick around for more.
